Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
What is AttendanceGM QR?
AttendanceGM QR is a modern, location-based attendance tracking system designed for organizations in The Gambia. It uses QR codes and GPS location verification to ensure accurate and secure attendance records.
How do I check in?
To check in:
- Log in to your account
- Go to the "Check In" page
- Allow location access when prompted
- Your QR code will be displayed
- Have an admin or colleague scan your QR code
- You'll receive a confirmation message
Why do I need to enable location services?
Location services ensure that you are physically present at your office location when checking in or out. This prevents fraudulent attendance and ensures accurate records. Your location data is only used for verification and is not tracked or stored beyond attendance records.
Can I check in from home?
No, you must be at your office location to check in. The system verifies your GPS coordinates against your organization's office location. If you're working from home, contact your administrator about remote work policies.
What if I forget to check out?
If you forget to check out, contact your HR manager or administrator. They can manually update your attendance record from the Admin Dashboard. Try to remember to check out before leaving the office!
How do I view my attendance history?
Click on "History" in the navigation menu. You'll see a complete record of your check-ins and check-outs, including dates, times, and attendance status (Present, Late, Absent).
Can I use AttendanceGM on multiple devices?
Yes! You can log in from any device (phone, tablet, computer) with internet access. Your QR code and attendance records are synced across all devices.
How do I reset my password?
On the login page, click "Forgot Password?" and enter your email address. You'll receive a password reset link via email. If you don't receive the email, check your spam folder or contact your administrator.
What does "Late" status mean?
You're marked as "Late" if you check in after your organization's designated start time. The specific time is set by your administrator. Check with your HR department for your organization's working hours.
Is my data secure?
Yes! AttendanceGM uses industry-standard security measures including encrypted passwords, secure tokens, and organization-level data isolation. Your personal information and attendance records are only accessible to you and authorized administrators in your organization.
Who can see my attendance records?
Only you, your HR managers, and administrators in your organization can view your attendance records. Data is isolated by organization, so other companies using AttendanceGM cannot see your information.
Can I download my attendance report?
